🥾We’ve absolutely loved welcoming so many Appalachian Trail hikers to Kent, Connecticut this spring and summer!

From all across the United States and around the world, you’ve made Kent a memorable stop on your incredible journey. Along the way, you’ve helped support our local community by dining at our restaurants, shopping in our stores, doing laundry, visiting the Kent Farmers Market, stopping by the post office, getting fresh haircuts at our local salons, relaxing at the Kent Welcome Center, and, of course, ending the day with an ice cream at sunset from 45 On Main. 🍦🌅

Thanks to the generosity of our hiking community, we’ve also raised over $500 for the Kent Volunteer Fire Department through donations. 🚒❤️

To every hiker who has passed through our little town—thank you for choosing Kent, for supporting our local businesses, and for sharing your stories and adventures with us. Safe travels on the rest of your journey, and we hope our town will always hold a special place in your memories.

Whether you're going in during the dead of winter or a bright day in the heat of summer, no two experiences are the same when walking into 45 on Main in Kent.

From snowflakes and ornaments hanging from the ceiling during the Christmas season to a scene out of the "Addams Family" for Halloween, the North Main Street establishment is celebrating three years of business in 2026.

What a night! ⛈️
45 On Main was packed with around 30 Appalachian Trail hikers taking shelter from last night’s wild storm. We’re glad everyone had a safe, dry place to wait it out.

It looks like some cell, cable, and internet services are still experiencing outages this morning. If you’re in need of Wi-Fi, a place to charge your devices, or just a comfortable spot to take a break, stop by!

We’re open today from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. ☕🍦📶
