In a world(state) where minimum wages, labor laws, taxes, ingredients, etc … is constantly rising, it is becoming very hard, almost impossible for a small business to support a local non profit or your child’s soccer team.
Last year alone, we had about 112 requests, some asked for free products, some asked for cash and some for other sorts of support.
We were able to fill half of those requests .
An estimated $14 K of our budget has been given to our community.
Based on the feed back, those 14 K were turned into roughly 32 K . We assume it was more, but not every client lets us know the details of their auctions.
Just to give you an example:
When we donate a Spartak cake to an auction, it sells anywhere from $800-$4200 .
At least to our knowledge, the highest that it sold for was $4200.
We are very proud that we were able to give back to our community.
This year, we are giving even more.
But in order to keep giving back , we ask you kindly, that you not only support us , but also our neighboring businesses to the best of your ability.
Sadly, I’m writing this because I see long lines at chain restaurants and empty tables at local spots .
Just a reminder that when you can , please support local.
Thank you for all your support you have given us , Tricities. 🙏
The best is yet to come.❤️
