Hi guy's Cara here
Like we said we shut our phones off for a day to kind of rest
First. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support! It's brought a tear to our eyes that our community is helping us get those issues fixed, and not have to worry about feeding our families while we do that! It's amazing
Yes it is our main cooking suite that went down (our griddle that all of our food cooks on) we have reached out to the guy that helps us with that stuff, and are looking to solutions for it. Seeing what's salvageable or if we have to replace the whole suite(something at this point we just cannot possibly afford)
This year has been very hard for a lot of small businesses, we have had a lot of things breakdown with our truck. A fridge went out, followed by our fryer we had to replace, then our hood went out, and our electrical issues, oh and you guys remember the Freezee machine being down through peak freezee season. With the drop in sales that this year has brought us(and a lot of our neighboring business friends) we've had to take on a lot right now it feels like more than one can handle. It's been a rough year.
We love our truck, and seeing all of you. Being a part of the community in Downtown Kennewick is an amazing and welcoming feeling that we are so very proud to be a part of!
We really are still not sure what Hot Mess’ next moves are. Emotionally this year has also been very hard.
