There are moments in history that become a part of all of us.

Today, we remember the innocent lives taken too soon, the families who lost someone they loved, and the brave men and women who gave everything while trying to save others.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

May we never forget the lives behind the numbers.
May we never forget the families left behind.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call.

Tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 AM, John’s Pancake House will be giving away 60 backpacks filled with school essentials for children getting ready to head back to school! 📚✏️🎒

We kindly ask that you take ONLY ONE backpack per child who is PRESENT. We want to do our best to make sure these backpacks go to the children who truly need them and that as many local kids as possible have the opportunity to receive one. ❤️

And we want to give a special THANK YOU to our local Walmart for helping us once again by putting all of these backpacks and school essentials together for us! 💙 We truly appreciate you always being willing to help us when we reach out and helping us make things like this possible for our community. Your support means so much! 🥰

One of our AMAZING customers thought he was going to get away from us singing 🎶 Happy Birthday and getting a face full of whipped cream 🤣🍦 simply because his birthday fell on the days we were closed…

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your incredible support throughout the year. Your kindness, loyalty, and smiles are the reason we’ve been here for so many years, and we never take that for granted.

Each year we take this short break so our hardworking staff can spend some quality time with their families, rest, and come back refreshed and ready to serve you with the same love and care you deserve.

We will be closed from July 15th through August 17th for our annual staff vacation and will reopen on August 19th.

We truly appreciate every single one of you. Thank you for making John’s feel like more than just a restaurant—you’ve become part of our family.
