Hi Everyone, this is Andrea.
For 16 years, Our shop was such a big part of my life — and so were all of you.
My mother and I opened Riviera Common Grounds , and together we poured our hearts into that space every single day. What we hoped would become a warm, welcoming place for people to gather turned into something far more special than we ever imagined. Because of you, it became a community
Over the years you weren’t just customers. You were the morning regulars whose orders we knew by heart. The friends who stayed to talk long after the coffee was gone. The people who shared your celebrations, your struggles, your laughter, and pieces of your lives with us. Those moments meant everything to me.
When the transition happened, I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye the way I would have wanted to. That has been hard for me, because after 16 years together, you deserved more than a quiet ending.
My mother and I built Riviera Common Grounds with love, hard work, and a belief that kindness and good coffee could bring people together. The shop will always be part of our story, and its legacy will always live in the memories we shared within those walls.
So I just want to say what I should have been able to say before: thank you.
Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for walking through our doors day after day. Thank you for trusting us with your mornings, your conversations, and your time. You made Riviera Common Grounds feel like home.
Those 16 years will always live in my heart, and so will all of you.
And no matter where life takes us next, a part of me will always be behind that counter at Riviera Common Grounds, pouring one more cup of coffee for the people who made our shop feel like family.
