Dockers Waterfront Restaurant & Bar will remain closed Wednesday, September 23rd. We plan to reopen Thursday at 11 AM.

🌧️💨 DOCKERS IS CLOSED MON & TUES! 💨🌧️

With rain in the forecast Monday through Wednesday and the ferry shut down due to high winds, we’re calling it an Island Snow Day at Dockers. 🌊 We’ll reevaluate Wednesday morning and let everyone know when we’re ready to reopen.

Sometimes Mother Nature makes the schedule on Kelleys Island! 💙

Summer may be winding down, but we’re still open—and September is one of the best times to visit the island.

The crowds slow down, the lake is beautiful, the flowers are still blooming, and the monarch butterflies are making their annual migration stop on Kelleys Island as one of our spectacular natural sights. 🦋🌼

Come over for the day, take a walk around the island, enjoy the waterfront and grab lunch or dinner at Dockers. No need to say goodbye to island season just yet. 💙

These are some of the faces behind summer on Kelleys Island. ❤️
For our guests, summer means vacations, boat rides, cold drinks, good food, music and MEMORIES.

Today, on Labor Day, we want to recognize the people behind those memories. For those who work here, summer looks a little different. It’s long days, late nights, hot kitchens, packed patios, full docks, tired feet—and giving up a little bit of our own summer to make someone else’s special.

To our Dockers and Portside family—our cooks, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, hosts, bussers, dockhands, cashiers, J1s, and managers..even our taste tester, Mr. Stevenson—thank you for showing up, working hard, laughing through the craziness and taking care of each other. Behind every great summer here are hardworking people who make it happen. We'll keep adding faces as they show up for their shifts today, because these are the people behind the summer memories.
