Located in the Kawaihae Shopping Center, Kohala Burger & Taco prepares dishes using fresh, local ingredients that embrace Hawaii’s grass fed beef supply and abundance of fresh line caught wild fish. Known for our cool fusion of burger-joint food and Mexican food, we create a variety of mouthwatering dishes. We make fresh bread for our mouthwatering home style burgers and homemade tortillas for our flaky and delicious fish tacos. All of our recipes are a reflection of truly classic items and create nostalgia for the flavors of the great 50’s style “drive-ins.” To complete your meal, be sure to add on a handmade milk shake, malt, or root b**r float, and finish off your meal with an authentic soft serve Dole pineapple whip.
