What do you do when you have 2,040 bags of hardwood mulch left over from ServeFest? You turn that mulch into mission trips!

Even though we spread more than 2,900 bags of mulch this past Sunday for Servefest, we still had a few left over. So, we’re offering the leftover bags of mulch from as an opportunity for you to help fund scholarships for our Student Ministries mission trips in 2025.

All net proceeds from a suggested donation of $3 per bag of mulch will go to the Student Ministries. These funds will enable our high school students to attend camps and join mission trips.

Do you care if every child has a forever family and home? Of course, you do! So, come out and support this charity run that funds domestic and international adoptions by volunteering. Race marshalls & water station volunteers are still needed. High school-age students and adults are all welcomed as volunteers and runners. Follow the link to volunteer.

The Run4TheChildren is on Saturday November 6, 2021. It includes the following events: 4 Mile Run, 10 Mile Run, 4 Mile Virtual Run, and 10 Mile Virtual Run.

The Fellowship will be offering Alpha, an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner. It is a low-key, fun, and friendly way to have conversations about faith and life.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith through thought provoking talks and dialogue. Alpha will meet for 12 weeks with the talk each time engaging a different question around faith and designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.

What to expect?
*Talk - Alpha is a series of talks addressing key issues relation to the Christian faith such as:
-Is Christianity boring, true, or irrelevant?
-Who is Jesus and why did he die?
-What and how do I read the Bible?
-How does God guide us?
*Dialogue - After each talk you will have the opportunity to meet in small groups to have dialogue around the topic of the evening. You can ask questions, express your opinion, and listen to what others have to contribute. Alpha is a place to listen, learn, dialogue, and discover.

Who attends Alpha?
-People interested in exploring Christianity
-New Christians or those returning to the faith

When does Alpha meet?
Thursdays, September 9- December 2
