Good morning! My intention for yesterday's post was not to scare everyone! I'm a big believer in honesty, being transparent and giving our staff, Vivian Lopez and our customers credit. Together is a beautiful thing, it's a blessing that extends beyond our walls , beyond the bad things and gives us all hope. We are and always will be hopeful. Pushing for tomorrow with the people we love and are so greatful to serve and employ day in and day out! Thank you all for the kind words, the wonderful stories and all of your support. "One taco at a time" it's the simple things that keep our hearts full!

Tough times sometimes lead to beautiful beginnings, others lead to the end, and some redefine your journey. World Cup let down, the economy, local city issues, the cost of goods, and the lettuce recall (we were not affected) all add up to challenges that we've never faced! These are the moments I miss my father, Manny, and my sister, Debbie, and their ability to dig in, smile, and find a way through. Vivian Lopez leads our business with resolve, with fight, and the type of calm that, personally, I find ridiculously impressive. This moment will be defined as an opportunity—the opportunity to get better, to come together as a business, and to redefine our ability to bounce back. We will take the lessons learned from Manny, Debbie, and the leadership of Vivian and endure through growth, grace, and love. We are here, we will continue to be here, and with the love, support, and care of our wonderful customers and this amazing city, we will be better than ever. Thank you all for your support, for walking through our doors, and for sharing your beautiful lives, families, and moments with our family. The greatest asset Kansas City possesses is its people! A people who value community, their neighbors, and our home. We can't wait to see you! Come and see us soon and let us care for you as you have so graciously cared for us.
