It is with a heavy heart that I announce The Bayou Box Lone Jack is closing, effective immediately.

Due to unexpected personal and family circumstances, I have made the difficult decision that I am no longer able to continue operating at this time. This was my husbands dream, and with our family issues, I’m no longer able to continue all the business ventures.

This is certainly not how I hoped this chapter would end, and I am incredibly grateful to the Lone Jack community for welcoming and supporting The Bayou Box over these past eight months.

Thank you to our wonderful customers, staff, friends, and community for being a part of it. We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️🐊

Waldo Bayou Box 🚨

After much consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to permanently close the Bayou Box WALDO location.

Due to unexpected changes and circumstances within our family, I’m simply not able to give two locations the time and attention they deserve right now. While this wasn’t my plan when we opened our doors in Waldo, sometimes life requires you to adjust your plans and focus on what matters most.

I am incredibly grateful to the Waldo community for welcoming Bayou Box and to every person who stopped in, shared a meal with us, recommended us to a friend, or supported our little restaurant along the way. We’re also so thankful for our employees and all of the hard work they’ve put into this location.

For now, my kids and I need to simplify, regroup, and focus our energy closer to home.

Thank you, Waldo, for having us. 💚💛❤️

Bayou Box Waldo is permanently closed.
