This picture kinda freaks me out. Bella posted it this past weekend and I can’t stop thinking about it.

See that handsome kid smiling at the customer? When we started this, he was just taller than my hip and had a hard time yelling people’s names loud enough to deliver trays.

This picture cemented the fact that our kids have literally GROWN UP at the Rooster.

It has shaped them.
Helped them come out of their shells.
Forced them to engage with people under sometimes (often) high stress.

It has also taught them how to do a job really well because cutting corners only hurts us.

They’ve watched how their grandma and papa work circles around us.

And they’ve witnessed how their parents get super annoyed (and worse) with each other in a hot kitchen with a line overflowing in tickets and still finish each weekend with full hearts and so much gratitude.

Next month we celebrate 9 years at Bella Patina . It’s unbelievable really. For all the ways our family has grown.

And all the ways this community has grown to be so important to us.

We thank you. We love you. We hope to see and serve you soon! ❤️🐓😍

Some of you come every First Friday weekend (to the point that if we don't see you, Grandma Rooster is reaching out to make sure you are okay).

You come in between soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball games.

You make it a part of special occasions. (I see you 21st birthday pre-game)

You wait in long lines, share table space and make room for community.

You tell your friends and family about us.

And you have become our family and friends.

Every year we get to do this, our gratitude grows.

We are so grateful for YOU. For what it means for our three generations. For the opportunity to feed people with "Butter and Love".

Thank you for stepping up to the Rooster. For 8 years. ❤️🐓😍

These cool ladies came from all over the country, ate with us yesterday, Swifted it up and then came back today…with more cool friends and are Swifting it tonight. And this was just one of many groups.
