El 11 de julio de 2021, miles de cubanos salieron a las calles. No por miedo. No en silencio. Salieron gritando una palabra que por generaciones ha vivido en el corazón del pueblo cubano:

LIBERTAD.

Ese día Cuba alzó su voz. Una voz cansada de la escasez, de los apagones, de la represión y de no poder decidir su propio futuro.

Hoy recordamos a quienes tuvieron el valor de salir. A quienes fueron detenidos. A las familias que todavía cargan con las consecuencias. Y a todos los cubanos, dentro y fuera de la isla, que siguen soñando con una Cuba Libre.

❤️⚽️ Win or lose… the atmosphere was unforgettable. ⚽️❤️

While the result on the field wasn’t the one we were hoping for, one thing is certain—the passion, energy, and community that filled Rock Island Bridge made this watch party a huge success.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, celebrate, and support El Tri together. Seeing hundreds of people united by the love of the game reminded us that it’s about so much more than the final score. ❤️💚🤍
