P.S. It’s a novel:
So Devoured had its 2 Year Brick & Mortar Anniversary this past weekend. August 15th is our birthday. I wanted to do something special like we did for our one year but honestly this year has kicked my ass. It all started as a pop-up in 2020 in my backyard. 6 years of Devoured. 4 years on the pavement and 2 years of the shop. 6 years of serving this beautiful Kansas City community. This literally wouldn’t even be a thing without the support and love of the people. I am grateful.

I found this video on my computer and felt like, DAMN I NEEDED TO SEE THIS SH*T…IN THIS MOMENT! Sometimes in life I think we can all forget about where we started. All that struggle, all that growth, all that hard work has been necessary. This whole concept started in 2017 when I was in college working as pizza chef at D’Bronx, while simultaneously working on my senior design project. It was a foodie magazine concept. Never in my wildest dreams thought this ideation would come alive from the magazine pages. Life is funny like that. I want to continue Devoured however that looks. I have big plans for it, for right now consistency and enjoying the moment is what matters. Excited to share what we have in store 🫶🏾🤭🤗 Thanks again to our Pizza Baes throughout these years, let’s keep this energy going!!!
