Come on out to Youthfront Neighborhood Commons today from 11:30-1:30 where together with The Hub Argentine we will host Tastes of Argentine. Here you can try small plates from neighbors sharing the best of their homelands. No cost, but you can feel free to donate :-)

Our Argentine youth group, The Good Life, is growing! With that, so is the need for some more help! One of our biggest needs right now is providing our students with a meal on Wednesday nights! You and your friends could provide a meal like Costco sandwiches, cook a meal for us in our kitchen or yours, or just provide some funding for us to get pizza! Our next opportunity to provide a meal is Wednesday, October 9th!

The Snack Shack re-opens on Wednesday, August 14th for all students from 1 to 5:30pm! If you are a new 6th grader, you can come and get a free ice cream cone on that day from Joe, Phil and Behry! We can’t wait to see you this school year!

YF Neighborhood still has a few spots left for our July Neighborhood Day Camp. We will do a variety of different summer activities. We will spend part of the day in the neighborhood doing activities such as art projects, Bible lessons, playing games, visiting local parks, Snack Shack KC, we will also venture out of the neighborhood to go on short hikes and to enjoy Parkwood Pool.

The Snack Shack KC is now open for normal after school hours! Last year, one of the things we saw that made the biggest difference in our students' lives was the presence of community volunteers. Volunteers can mentor/tutor students, help at the counter, keep things tidy, and run programs such as a board game club or join us for our Wednesday night youth group! Cleared for landing at Sumner Academy! The KCKPS All Star Band was in the spotlight today when KMBC’s Johnny Rowlands dropped in via helicopter for a segment on the morning news! We will officially be re-opening on Monday, August 28th at 3pm after a very busy summer! We will be fully stocked with ice cream and snacks for students, families, community groups and anyone who is just needing a quick snack! Come and see us!

Join us Saturday, October 15th from 5-8 pm for a fun night with family, friends and neighbors. Argentine Betterment Corporation is excited to celebrate Halloween in Argentine with Trunk or Treat. This Trunk or Treat will include decorated trunks, candy, vendors, games, s'mores, a bonfire and more!
