The annual Gilbert/Robinson Awards bring Kansas City’s restaurant and hospitality community together to celebrate the people who make the industry stronger and recognize the relationships, leadership, and people behind our restaurants.

For Brooke, receiving the Community Table Award feels especially meaningful. Her impact has never stopped at the drinks she creates behind the bar. She shares her knowledge, supports the people around her, mentors others in the industry, and has built genuine relationships with the people who have made Tannin part of their lives.

And seeing so many friends and familiar faces from Tannin show up to celebrate Brooke made it even more special. Thank you to everyone who came out to support her. That community is a huge part of what Tannin is.
