What started off as Wah Gwan supporting walkers participating in the Troost Walk turned into us giving back to YOU the community around us❤️the same community that continues to support Wah Gwan!

We had homemade Jamaican sorrel🌺, bottled water, Jamaican beef patties, and Jamaican chicken patties for the community.

We had the opportunity to give back to students at University Academy and introduce them to flavors rooted in Jamaican and Nigerian culture 🇯🇲🇳🇬

The students got to try the food, learn more about the culture behind it, and share their thoughts on the experience.

Moments like this remind us that food brings people together in the best way.

We are filled with so much GRATITUDE for all who donated to the Hurricane Melissa Relief efforts. This journey was emotional to see in one you can be left with nothing. Lives and people’s livelihood were gone in one day. My people are very resilient and thankful for the life they were blessed with to see another day. Jamaica has made a lot of improvements in the short time. Only better cyaan come from this point on. Thank you once again.

I have been spending some time with my Sis . I’ve been back home in JA for almost a month now. I came back to unpack and release mind, body and to get aligned gained. Through my journey I’m a student again.
