Str-Eatz is a small, casual, family owned Mexican restaurant located in South Kansas City, specializing in made-to-order burritos, tacos, tostadas, fresh salads and more. We have job openings for a prep cook and cashier/server. We offer an hourly rate of $14.00 per hour for prep cook and $10 per hour for cashier/server plus tips and free shift meals, for those with experience and $8 with no experience.
Your duties would include but not be limited to:
Prep Cook:
Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
Packaging food products
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Keeping the dining room and server stations cleaned
Cashier/Server
Welcome customers
Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant POS
Keep the dining room clean
Answer phones/to-go orders
Serve food for dine in and take out
These are full-time positions working 40 hours a week, no holidays and no weekends, hours are 10:30-7 Monday thru Friday.
Ideal candidates will be reliable and friendly.
Bilingual is a plus, but not required
NO KITCHEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, we are happy to train.
