🍕👨🍳 WHAT A GREAT DAY AT RANGER JOE’S!
We had an awesome time hosting students from Kalispell Middle School’s Travel & Tourism class! Their teachers, Ms. Jenny and Ms. Russell, did a great job keeping everyone on track while the students got a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into running a pizza restaurant.
And they didn’t just watch — they got to jump in, make their own pizzas, and experience firsthand what it’s like to work in a pizza shop! 🍕🙌
The students learned about food safety, food preparation, FIFO, restaurant equipment, how we make our pizza dough, fermentation, and the important role yeast plays in the process. My son Nehemiah, our GM, helped with the class and did a fantastic job working with all the kids. 👏
A special thank-you to Chefs Feeding Kids, an organization working to feed, educate, train, and employ young people in the food and culinary industry. Thank you for providing the aprons and supporting opportunities like this! ❤️👨🍳👩🍳
We love introducing young people to the restaurant industry and showing them that learning how to prepare food is a valuable skill they can use for the rest of their lives — and maybe even turn into a career someday! 🌟
