As Wings West prepares to close on September 12, Old Burdick's at Wings West will also be saying goodbye. For years, we’ve been proud to fuel families, celebrate wins, and share countless memories with this community.
Join us for a final toast before our last day, and let’s celebrate everything Old Burdick’s Wings West has meant together.

To Our Community,
For many years, Wings West has been more than a building. It has been a gathering place, a training ground, and a second home for athletes, families, and fans. We are deeply grateful for the support, spirit, and memories you’ve shared with us here.
This summer, the Wings West ice plant suffered a severe failure that has been under extensive review. After careful consideration with our property owner, Catalyst Development, we must share the very difficult news that the Wings West facility, including Old Burdick’s at Wings West, will close following our last day of service on Friday, September 12.
We know how difficult this news may feel. Please know that we are committed to carrying forward the community that has grown here. Ice programming will transition to Wings Event Center, which has three sheets of ice. We are carefully building schedules and are confident that 90% of current programs will continue there. Wings Event Center will remain open through the 2027–28 ice season, ensuring that athletes and families stay supported, connected, and inspired. This morning, we met with our user group leaders and will be sharing more details with coaches and teams via email soon, including scheduling updates.
Our people matter, just as we value our ice community user groups and our greater ice community. Every Wings West employee will be offered a position within Greenleaf Hospitality Group, so the teammates you know and value will continue to be part of our team.
