The NY White pizza is becoming a favorite among PK patrons. The issue currently is basil, a normal after topping for the white…this isn’t basil season so we don’t always have it in the menu.
While the NY White isn’t my favorite pizza on its own…I have found love for it when I add toppings…such as this (my absolute favorite) Mauro Provisions medium spice Giardiniera) This pizza may not look pretty, but oh was it delicious!!
If you love the NY White, try it with a little extra something, if you haven’t yet given it a try…you definitely should! I recommend this little added heat or pesto or…as Pryor says, the kalamata olives are the best!!

Yesterday, Thursday, we celebrated our son Clarke’s 18th birthday in Chicago.
We hit up a pizza shop that creates a pizza pop over…I’ve been desiring to go for a few years now. We ordered a pop over, sandwich, salad and flat bread to share…im excited to work on a spin off of the pizza pop over for Pk. I LOVE the concept!! We’re also working on a salad that we can be proud of. Food…my favorite after our kids, grands and Jimmy.

It’s Friday today, we’re open regular hours…11-9, tomorrow also and Sunday from 12-8 pm.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the prices of cheese based pizzas will increase by $1.04. Focaccia sticks and bread will also increase. It is super sad and as we all know, food costs have increased dramatically…have you been to the grocery store?!?!

As always, we had the opportunity to choose: keep quality standards as they are and increase pricing or lower our quality to less expensive flour, cheese and tomatoes and keep prices the same. I hope, if you enjoy our pizza, you think we’re making the right choice…as hard as it is, I know that’s how I feel.

Looking for a deal, check out the PIZZA SUBSCRIPTIONS. I’m keeping those prices as they are to encourage people to plan ahead which helps us and due to the price break, helps you also.

The holiday is behind us, next up the NEW YEAR! With that, a customer inspired me to take a look at my costs again….so, thanks Lon!
Today I am reviewing the costs of our pizzas, breads and everything in between. We’ll see if changes need to be made going forward into the new year. 🤞 we won’t need to make any changes…I’ll keep you informed.
The good part of this is…I get to sit while doing this work :)

Holiday CHEER from our family to yours.
Ordering guide from PK over this holiday.
PAR-BAKES: orders go through today, Saturday. No par-bake orders will be accepted tomorrow, Sunday, Christmas Eve.
Hot Out of the Shop: Today, Saturday, we are already stacking up on pre-orders. If you’re looking to order pizza for a specific time for pick up, the earlier you call or place online the better. Our 5 pm hour is already full.
As for Sunday, Christmas Eve: we CLOSE at 7 pm. Our last order will be for pick up at 7 pm so our family can hurry home to begin their celebrations. The same as today, we already have many pizzas ordered, if you are looking for a specific time to pick up, calling or ordering online sooner will help us ensure you get what you want for a pick up time that you desire.

On a side note: as with all businesses during this time of year…we are working very long day, we are trying diligently to accommodate your desires. Please be kind. Please be patient. Please thank those who are working their tales off to make your holiday special.
We all appreciate your business, your generosity, and your holiday cheer!

LASTLY, thank you to my generous friends who purchased this little pizza kitchen for our shop. It is bring ME and all the kids who come into the shop SO MUCH JOY!!
