We wanted to share a little update about what you may notice at The Right Slice over the next few weeks.

For the time being, you may see a smaller selection in our bakery cases, including fewer fresh pot pie flavors each day.

At our farmers market events, we will also temporarily be offering frozen pot pies instead of our usual fresh pot pie selection. They’re the same pot pies we make at the bakery just frozen and ready for you to take home and bake when you’re ready.

We know it can be disappointing when you come in looking for a favorite and we don’t have it that day. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

These changes are temporary, and as business picks back up, we hope to bring more choices back.

And if there’s a particular pie you have your heart set on, please order ahead! That helps us plan production and makes sure your favorite is waiting for you.

Thank you for continuing to support our little pie shop, our staff, and local small businesses here on Kauaʻi. Every order and every visit really does make a difference. ❤️

Sometimes the SMELL of something baking is almost as good as eating it.

As our island continues to recover from Hurricane Lowell, we simply want to say MAHALO.

To all of our customers, friends, and supporters both here on Kauaʻi and far away thank you for the incredible generosity you have shown our community. Every donation, every helping hand, every message, and every person who asked, “How can we help?” has meant so much.

For some, life may be getting back to normal. For others, recovery will take more time. There is still cleanup to be done, repairs to be made, and people in our community who need support.

We are also incredibly grateful for our first responders, utility crews, emergency workers, volunteers, local organizations, businesses, and neighbors who continue to work hard to help our island recover.

One thing Hurricane Lowell has reminded us of is just how special this community is. When someone needs help, people step up. Neighbors help neighbors. Businesses support one another. And even people thousands of miles away find ways to send their aloha to Kauaʻi.

From all of us at The Right Slice, mahalo for every donation, every helping hand, and every act of kindness.

We are so grateful to call Kauaʻi home and to be part of this amazing community.

Today, on Patriot Day, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call, the families who lost loved ones and the countless people whose lives were forever changed.

May we also remember the compassion, courage and unity shown by people helping one another during an unimaginably difficult time.
