A unique buttery, flaky pastry filled with a mixture of local island fruit filling is sure to fulfill everyone’s sweet craving, from the young child to the elderly. Growing up on the island of Maui, I always enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. The sight of someone’s immediate smile while enjoying my cooking or baking is always special to me and inspires my creativity. Thus, I took a traditional Japanese dessert and created a contemporary and delightful treat that is now a local favorite. Maui Manjookies offers a new twist on an old-fashioned favorite. Locally owned and family operated, Mike’s Mini Mart is centrally located in Kahului, Maui. We begin baking fresh products every morning and continue throughout the day. Each Manjookie is hand-rolled, carefully crafted with aloha and baked fresh daily. Our homemade fillings are inspired by fresh seasonal fruit and Island favorites - Azuki Bean, Lima Bean, Sweet Potato, Cranberry, Coconut, Apricot, Strawberry, Peanut Butter and Lilikoi-Pineapple
