August is National Back to School Month! Tomorrow Clark County heads back to School! And we reopen with our new floors!! Here is a look at this weeks menu: Mon-Turkey Club on Croissant, Tues-Sweet & Sour Pork & Rice, Wed-Fried or Backed Chicken, Thurs-Liver & Onions & Mashed Tators, and Fri-Fried Fish Fillet with Onion Rings. Lunch is served 11am-12:30pm and we are so excited to see you all back!

On behalf of our patrons, our Board, and myself, we are so grateful for this opportunity to enhance our Center and replace all of the old flooring in our facility. Thank you Exchange Bank Co. for your continued support of our Center and your dedication to your community. We are closed this week as the updates are made but we are so excited to welcome you back next week with a beautiful fresh clean look!

We are proud to join the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in awarding a Member Impact Fund grant to the Clark Co. Council . This investment will help provide resources that strengthen the organization’s ability to support residents, promote independence, and enhance the quality of life.

The Clark County Council on Aging is dedicated to serving older adults by providing valuable resources and support that helps seniors remain active, connected, and independent in their communities. Their commitment to enriching the lives of older adults and supporting their families helps create a stronger, more caring community for generations to come.

Strong partnerships create stronger communities, and we are honored to be part of this effort to invest in the future.

Today, Friday 8/14, we are serving your choice of Chicken or Beef Pot Pie with Mixed Veggies, Topped with Biscuits, Apricots, and Dessert. Lunch is served 11am-12:30pm. Reminder: Today is the last day to get frozen meals for next week (we are closed for the floor remodel).

Today, Thursday 8/13, we are serving a Tuna Salad Sandwich or Egg Salad Sandwich with Carrot Sticks & Ranch Dip, a Pickle Spear, Red Grapes, and Lime Jello Cake. Lunch is served 11am-12:30pm.

Today, Wednesday 8/12, we are serving Fried or Baked Chicken with Scalloped Potatoes, Cornbread Casserole, Cinnamon Applies, and a Strawberry Cookie. Lunch is served 11am-12:30pm. And don't forget today is BINGO! Our friends from Hills Village will be here at 1pm to host Bingo this month. They will bring their expert staff, fun prizes, and delicious snacks!
