What up y’all, Dave checking in! It’s been a rocky road this morning, and I’m not talking about the ice cream! 😂🤦‍♂️ Definitely having a Monday morning, first-day-back-from-Maui kind of start.

Our pizza line iced up, and temperatures weren’t where they needed to be. Had to toss a bunch of stuff and start fresh, including remaking sauces. The boys are cranking hard to get a scheduled 11 AM pickup order out while getting everything prepped for the day.

We might be a few minutes behind opening the doors, but we’re working our tails off to make it happen. Appreciate a little grace this morning! 🤙

This will probably be my only post today. I also won’t be handling customer complaints sent through Messenger—or any other avenue—until I’m back in town. We’re taking this time to unplug, recharge, and get ready for another year of focused energy!

Dave checking in!

It’s 12:15, and I’ve officially handled my owner duties at both locations. My crews feel confident, and I’m leaving both restaurants in steady hands.

Please grant my people a little grace this week. I usually do a whole lot of running between both locations, so covering everything in my absence will be a challenge—but I believe in my crews, and I know my buddies are going to handle it!

As for Facebook, I won’t be answering messages while we’re gone, and I’ll probably turn commenting off on a lot of my posts. I’ll still do my best to post daily updates for both restaurants, including specials and slices of the day.

We appreciate your patience, grace, and understanding.
