💖🐽 Good morning, BBQ family!

Another week behind us, and goodness, do we have a lot to be thankful for! From the familiar faces at our window to the beautiful celebrations we were blessed to be part of, what a week. 💖🐽💖

But I want to share something that meant the world to us.

This candle was gifted to us by a sweet couple we met at our window some time ago. 🕯️

They thought of us. That’s it. And sometimes something that simple can mean everything.

We spend our days feeding people, but I don’t think you all realize just how much you fill our hearts in return. ❤️

The BBQ brings us together, but it’s the people who make it special.

Here’s to another week of doing what we love, and never forgetting how blessed we are to do it.

Today we get to love on our own. 🩷

Our son JJ and beautiful daughter-in-law Brandalin are in town, and we get to cater their baby shower brunch!

We don’t get nearly enough time together, so having them here to celebrate their first little girl after two boys makes today extra sweet.

These two made us Nana & Pappy… and now they’re bringing us grandbaby #9. 🥹

JJ & Brandalin, today we get to spoil you a little, feed you well and soak up this time together. We love you and that sweet girl so much. 🩷

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚

Some of the biggest smiles hide the hardest battles. And sometimes, the people who seem the strongest are the ones hurting the most.

On May 6, 2018, we lost our nephew, SSgt. Brandon Highlander, to su***de. A heartbreak our family will carry forever. ❤️🇺🇸

So today, if these words reach someone who is struggling, please hear me.

YOU MATTER. YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE NEEDED.

Your presence makes a difference. Your life has meaning. And even on the days when you can’t see it, there are better days worth staying for.

You don’t have to be strong every day. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay. And you never have to face your darkest moments alone.

Check on your people. Love a little louder. Be the reason someone feels seen, heard, and loved. ❤️

For Brandon. For every family carrying this heartbreak. And for every person still fighting a battle we cannot see.

We’re heading out with two wedding drop-offs and taking the truck to a wedding celebration . We get to feed the people who came to cheer them on and that’s a pretty special way to spend our Saturday.

To our couples… thank you for saving us a place in your day. We hope you get a quiet moment together to look around and say, “Look at all these people here for us.” 🥹❤️

Enjoy every hug, every bite and every dance. We’re so happy to be part of it.
