Good morning, Lighthouse family.

Today is our next-to-last day at Lighthouse Coffee & Mercantile. We are open this morning, and our final day will be tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9.

We understand that there is a season for everything under the Lord. As this season comes to its appointed end, our prayer is the same as it was when we began: that people saw the Lord through Lighthouse.

The goal was never only to serve coffee. It was to pray with people, offer encouragement, show kindness, and let the light of Christ shine through every opportunity God placed before us.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 KJV

If someone felt cared for, received prayer, found encouragement, or saw even a small reflection of Jesus here, then Lighthouse accomplished what we prayed it would do.

All glory belongs to the Lord.

Good morning, Lighthouse family.

We are open today, Monday, September 7, from 6:30 AM until 10:00 AM.

This is our final Monday, with only three operating days remaining. Our final day will be Wednesday, September 9. Food and drinks will be available while supplies last.

As we observe Labor Day, we are thankful for every person who works faithfully to care for their family, serve others, and make our community better.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”

Colossians 3:23–24 KJV

Whatever work God has placed before us, may we do it faithfully and remember who we are ultimately serving.

Today is our final Saturday open at Lighthouse Coffee & Mercantile.

We are open from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Coffee, drinks, breakfast, and other food items will be available while supplies last. As items sell out, they will not be restocked before our final day on Wednesday, September 9.

It is difficult knowing this is our last Saturday morning together, but we are choosing to be grateful for every person God brought through our doors and drive-thru.

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”

Psalm 126:3 KJV

Come spend part of this final Saturday with us. Whether you stop for coffee, breakfast, conversation, or simply to say hello, we would love to see you.

Today is our final Friday open and our very last Frappe Friday.

We are open from 6:30 AM until 10:00 AM today, and large frappes are $6.

As Lighthouse’s final day on September 9 draws closer, we have been thinking about the good God allowed us to do here. Yes, we served coffee and food, but some of the most meaningful moments never appeared on a menu.

We prayed with people right in the drive-thru. We listened when someone needed to talk. We shared encouragement, laughter, and sometimes tears. On difficult mornings, we were able to help someone smile and remind them they were not alone.

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.”

Philippians 1:3–5 KJV

LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY, WE HAVE A DIFFICULT ANNOUNCEMENT.

After much prayer, honest consideration, and looking carefully at both the financial reality of the shop and Waynes health, we have made the difficult decision, September 9. will be the last day for Lighthouse Coffee & Mercantile.

The shop has continued losing money month after month, and my health will no longer allow me to keep carrying the physical demands required to operate it. Continuing this way would not be wise, responsible, or sustainable.

We are not sharing this to ask for pity. We are sharing it because you have supported this little coffee shop, prayed for us, encouraged us, and become part of the Lighthouse family. You deserve honesty, and you deserve our deepest thanks.

Between now and September 9, we plan to continue serving our community while working through our remaining food inventory. Food items will be available while supplies last and will not be restocked once sold out. We will share any necessary hour changes here on our page.

This season is ending, but God is not. We trust Him with what comes next, and we are thankful for every person He allowed Lighthouse to serve along the way.
