Good morning! Welcome to our new friends!! So many of you have joined us over the weekend, so I wanted to introduce myself to you and share some information with you.
I'm Beth. I'm a wife, a mom, and a sourdough business owner. I have been making sourdough for just shy of 3 years now. I own and operate a beautiful sourdough stand, and I love to meet my customers!
1️⃣ Sonshine Sourdough Co was born out of a time that I was in a deep depression. It gave me something to focus on, and while I had ZERO intention of ever selling my breads, God had other plans for me. I give my effort, and He has multiplied those efforts. To Him I give all the glory for this little business.
2️⃣ The sourdough stand is out most weekends. But because I am a one-woman operation, I do take a few weekends off. 3️⃣ I love to meet my customers! If you come for the first time, I try my hardest to introduce myself to you. I think it's important to know who is baking your goodies. 😉
4️⃣ On Fridays, I post my menu for the following day, along with other information (location, payment options, and a link to a short video for those who've never been here).
5️⃣ I do not have gluten free items available in the stand. There is too much of a chance of cross contamination, and frankly, gluten free sourdough is a whole different process. Some people who have a gluten intolerance can tolerate regular sourdough because of the lengthy fermentation process. However, it's not suitable for those with celiac.
6️⃣ I do not take preorders on a weekly basis--it's first come, first served at the stand. If you are wanting a special order or a large amount of a certain item, shoot me a message and we can work something out! Always happy to help you with gifts and goodies!
7️⃣ Because this is first come, first served, that means the best selection is at opening. 😉
