This month, we’re honored to introduce our July History Feature: the Maple Scrapple Breakfast Sandwich

Made with crispy Pennsylvania scrapple, two fried farm eggs, toasted ciabatta, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup, this breakfast pays tribute to a tradition that’s been warming Pennsylvania tables for more than 300 years.

But there’s an even bigger story behind it.

Our newest blog shares memories from my grandparents’ farm, the values of stewardship and gratitude that shaped generations, and the rich Pennsylvania Dutch history behind one of our state’s most beloved breakfast traditions. ❤️
