It’s no secret, our favorite season is coming up 🍂

And no, not fall. Tamale season 🫔🔥

Because nothing beats the cold weather like a homemade style tamale, just like abuela used to make 💯

Come stop by our taquerias and grab some tamales this week 🙌

But that’s okay, we love everybody equally 💯

Last video had our videographer ready to punch air 😂👊

So we had to run it back for day 2. Fluke or the real deal? 👀

Gracias, Joliet 🙏

Ten years ago we opened a taqueria at McDonough (Rt 6) with one goal: really good tacos for this city 🌮

That corner is where it all started, and it’s not going anywhere. It’s becoming part of a central kitchen that powers all of our taquerias, so the food you grew up on gets to reach even more people 🔥

Thank you for every order, every review, and every friend you brought with you. Joliet will always be home ❤️

Find your nearest Ta Canijo taqueria or order ahead on the new Ta Canijo app 📲

Come make our new burrito bowls with us 🌮

It starts with beans and rice, then your meat of choice. Steak on this one 🔥

Top it off with cheese, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and of course some sour cream 💯

Stir it all up and you’ve got everything you love without the heaviness of the tortilla.

Stop by our taquerias and build yours 🙌
