The legendary Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014—the largest operating steam locomotive in the world—will be making its way through our region as part of its historic coast-to-coast tour celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Built in 1941, this 1.2-million-pound engineering marvel returned to service in 2019 after an extensive restoration and has become a bucket-list experience for railroad fans across the country.
