Up at 6 am till 2 for my job at Verizon, then up till 1 am working on the cafe. If you want it, it’s worth it! The cafe has come so far and still has so much work till be done.I never thought Erik and I would start a new business at this phase in our lives but I am so excited to see where we take it.

Curtain Call Café is officially hiring passionate, friendly, energetic people who love creating great experiences for others. Coffee experience is a plus—but a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for people are even more important.

📢 ATTN: KNOX FIELD NEIGHBORS - GRADUATION FIREWORKS FRIDAY NIGHT - JUNE 26

The Greater Johnstown School District would like to make our neighbors near Knox Field aware that a short fireworks show will take place on Friday evening, June 26, immediately following Johnstown’s 7 p.m. graduation ceremony outside on Knox Field.

We understand that fireworks can be disruptive to people and pets, and we wanted to provide advance notice so residents can plan accordingly.

Graduation fireworks are a cherished Johnstown tradition, and we’re hopeful the weather cooperates so the Class of 2026 can enjoy this special celebration. Our graduates have worked hard to fundraise for this event, and we’re excited to help them mark this milestone with a memorable sendoff.

Curtain Call Café is Getting Ready to Raise the Curtain!

We’re looking for a few special people to join our team as a Barista when we open this August.

More important than coffee experience, we’re looking for someone with a servant’s heart, someone who genuinely loves people, enjoys creating meaningful connections, and takes pride in making someone’s day a little brighter.

What we’re looking for:
-Friendly, positive, and dependable
-Comfortable with early mornings (starting at 5:30 AM)
-Passion for great customer service
-Coffee experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
-Bonus points if you love theater, the arts, and being part of a community-focused café
