As we observe Labor Day today, I first want to wish everyone a safe and peaceful holiday.

I also want to share something very heavy on our hearts here at the diner. Many of you who frequent Jax Diner likely knew Donna. She was a familiar face here and such an important part of the diner. For those who did not know her personally, Donna was a deeply dedicated, hardworking woman who cared about her work and was a valued part of our team.

For anyone who has not yet heard, Donna passed away this past Friday. Since buying the diner, I was truly grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her and to see firsthand the dedication she brought to Jax every day. She will be greatly missed.

Out of respect for Donna and so our staff may attend her funeral service and honor her memory, Jax Diner will be CLOSED Saturday, September 12th.

We will reopen Sunday, September 13th during our regular hours, 7 AM to 12 PM.

Thank you all for your kindness, understanding, and support during this difficult time. I hope everyone has a safe Labor Day!

We feel very blessed that Jax Diner never lost power and that we were able to be here for our community when so many were without. 💚☕️

✨Our Amazing Serving Team

Pictured here are Alexis and Gia, two of the smiling faces that help make Jax feel like home.

As many of you know, Alexis has been a wonderful part of our Jax family, but she’ll soon be moving on to her next adventure. Her last day with us will be August 9th.

If you’ve had the pleasure of being served by Alexis, be sure to stop in over the next week to wish her well and thank her for all of her hard work. We are so grateful for everything she’s brought to Jax, and while we’ll certainly miss her, we’re excited to see where life takes her next.
