This memory just popped up. It's been 3 years since I opened the Write Cup Coffee Shop downtown. I made the decision to relocate to Westmont on Goucher Street last year. It was a tough decision but I knew I had to do it since I was told the street in front of my shop was to be closed permanently with the new park construction. That would have eliminated probably a dozen of parking spaces. When the opportunity came up I decided to move to the new location on Goucher Street. It's paid off since there is free parking in front of the building as well as free parking on the side of the building and on the side street. Staff doesn't have to worry about running out and plugging their meter during work hours. Customers don't have to worry about plugging a meter and getting a fine. Several of our regular customers are able to walk to the new shop from the surrounding neighborhoods. So if you haven't been to the shop yet please find the time to stop by and enjoy our relaxing atmosphere and no stress about plugging a meter.
