Six years ago as Brett and I were watching tv, he said to me -I want to open up a restaurant. Of course, I looked at him with confusion and said you want to do what? Again he stated I want to open a restaurant, specifically The Hut. He continued by stating- I know I can do this. So, I agreed and our version of The Hut was born. We have survived the COVID years, sickness, and rising prices when other restaurants were less fortunate. Our goal was to have a place for fun times, great fellowship, and delicious food. We wanted an environment that families could bring their young children and feel comfortable. I believe we met these goals. In this last year, I have prayed that if there were other plans for us that HE would open a door. Let me say, when you pray, be ready for God’s answer. One day I asked, wonder if anyone would like to take over the business? In a very short time someone said I think I know someone who might be interested. And so, someone indeed has decided to take what we have built and make the business even better. New ideas, new energy, some new faces. I just have to say God is so, so good. Brett and I are so thankful and excited that we can pass this business into wonderful hands of a great couple/team. Cory and our very own Macey Jane-you both have our full support and we can’t wait to see where you take The Hut. We want to thank all of our patrons for all the support you have given us through the years. We will miss seeing each and everyone of you. You made Brett’s dream come true-so thank all of you again. We ask when Cory and Macey open in the very near future you give them your encouragement and support. For now, The Hut is closed and will open in the near future under this new management. Again, thank you to all our patrons-YOU are the best.
