🚨 BIG NEWS, Y’ALL! 🚨
Frannie’s Vegan Cafe is MOVING!
And before anybody starts thinking we just decided we needed a change..or the rumors start let’s clear it up.
This move wasn’t exactly our choice. After the building was sold to new owners, our rent was TRIPLED plus $100, making it impossible for us to stay where we are. Very much a case of Profit over People and Cash over Community.
We are SO excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share our new location with y’all! Frannie’s is staying right here in Johnson City, and we’re taking all the good stuff with us. The food, the laughs, the memories, and YOU. 🥹❤️
There is one bittersweet part of this move: Heritage Heals Pantry. That pantry has meant so much to us, and seeing this community love on it, donate to it, and use it when they needed it has been one of the greatest parts of this journey. One thing I want to make absolutely clear about the Heritage Hills Pantry:
I am NOT shutting the pantry down.
When Frannie’s leaves this location, the pantry will remain here. I have no intention of closing it or taking it with me.
What happens to the pantry after I leave is no longer my decision. The building now belongs to Bryan Sangid and David Brown, so if the pantry is ever closed, moved, or no longer allowed to operate here, that decision will be theirs — not mine.
I started this pantry for the community, and I’m not going to be the one who takes that resource away from the people who rely on it.
And over the next few weeks, you may notice some changes around Frannie’s. 👀 We are literally trying to move from one location to the next with as little downtime as possible!
So if you walk in one day and notice that picture that used to be on the wall is suddenly missing… 😂 just know it may have already made its way to the NEW Frannie’s!
We’re packing, moving, cleaning, planning, and somehow still trying to feed y’all in the middle of it all. 🤣
We don’t have every detail ready to share just yet, but turust us… we’ve got some exciting things coming! 👀
