We take peach selection very seriously around here. Before more than 1,500 pounds of fresh Georgia peaches can make their way into Love Tractor, they must first be evaluated for color, firmness, aromatic complexity, structural integrity, and, naturally, terroir.
The bouquet suggests mid-summer sunshine, subtle red-clay minerality, and a remarkably confident stone-fruit character. Each peach is carefully examined, gently handled, and occasionally tossed into the air to assess balance, poise, and overall breeding. This is all standard procedure.
After an exhaustive sensory review, the crop has been deemed suitably distinguished for Love Tractor Peach IPA.
Now comes the less glamorous portion of the process: blanching, peeling, and blending every peach by hand. Because apparently acquiring 1,500 pounds of local fruit was only the beginning.
