Lodged in Johns Creek city, the Liu Fu is elegant but old school. Flashes of light from fish tanks and an intriguing open kitchen brighten the cozy, wood-heavy interior. In short, it makes you immediately feel like you’re in a Chinese restaurant from a movie made in 1987. S

ervice is snappy and Americanized Sichuan classics (sizzling rice soup, dumplings, kung pao chicken) are both flavorful and memorable, while a heavy clientele of Asian-Americans gives the restaurant a stamp of authenticity.
