Ciao tutti!
I know this update is past due. A few of you close to us have sent a couple discussions online with swirling guesses as to what happened with the restaurant. My wife and I made the decision in December of last year to move to Florida with our son before the start of school for fall 2025. We have lived in the Atlanta area by ourselves for the last 10 years, 5 of which with our son. I have run the restaurant for the last six years while my wife works full time as a physical therapist. While visiting my family last year for Christmas we realized it would be best for our son to grow up around family. He starts Kindergarten this fall and has cousins his age, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, and uncles all in the area. We wanted our son to grow up with his big Italian family.
Now to clear up the timeline of things. We began to sell the restaurant at the beginning of the year. We had a buyer interested however they didn’t have any solid restaurant experience. After a trial period they realized it was not a good fit. At this point my wife and I had already begun to start our life in Florida. We started a physical therapy clinic in Safety Harbor Florida which has been quite a different change of pace compared to the restaurant. We fully made the move down here a month ago and had put the sale of the restaurant on the back burner while we got settled.
Now back to the restaurant. We debated back and forth on whether or not we were going to move the restaurant down here. After the initial buyer fell through we heavily considered opening back up in Florida. After careful consideration we decided we want to put all of our effort and resources into my wife’s new physical therapy clinic here in Florida. That means we will be publicly listing the restaurant for sale again.
I know this is disappointing to many of you, I should have been more clear sooner. However after many years of dedicated service to the community I realized it was time to make my family the number one priority. If you know anyone who would be interested in taking the reins let me know. We are back to actively looking for a buyer.
