Announcement/Business Opportunity
(DORTON LOCATION)
When we first came to Dorton, we were unsure how long we would stay, but we figured Dorton would be a good location to at least introduce our product to Pike County. We have been blessed to meet many new customers from the Pike County and surrounding areas. During the time we have been in business here, there has been several challenges as expected. The main challenge is that we have always struggled to find reliable workers. We also have been unable to keep reliable delivery drivers for about the past year. We are thankful for the workers that have stayed with us all the way until the end. After much thought and consideration, we permanently closed the doors at this location today (Wednesday March 4, 2026). We do plan at some point to reopen at another location in Pike County, preferably Pikeville if/when the right space comes available. The Dorton location would be a good suit for someone who has the time to personally work there at least some of the time. This way, it would cut down the challenge of finding workers constantly and labor costs. Since we own multiple businesses, we simply don’t have the time to be at the Dorton location like we would need to if we were to stay open. This location is probably better for a ‘mom and pop’ type situation rather than a company. That being said, our business contents we own at this location are FOR SALE as of now. We do not want to move everything out because it’s set up very nicely and would be great for someone to literally just move in. If you bought our business contents and our set up, since we do not own the building, you would have to talk to the landlord to set up your lease/rent. He said after we close, the building will still be for rent, so we believe this would be a great business opportunity if someone is looking to own/operate a small restaurant to buy our setup/contents and do business. You would also not be limited to only pizza or Italian food. There is a hood system in that building so you could easily throw some fryers or a grill in there and be able to sell much more different type types of food, including pizza. If you are interested, contact us by messaging THIS PAGE.
Also, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY please.
*If our equipment etc. is not sold by MARCH 12th, everything will be moved into storage, awaiting our next location.
If you find yourself craving Luigi’s, please keep in mind that the Whitesburg and Cumberland locations are still open seven days a week and we would love to see you there!
We will miss you, Dorton!! Thank you!! 🍕
