We are officially OUT OF MEAT! 😂

For the record… that was 63 LBS of that delicious 🐽, made in our on-site smokers and served at La Ventanita yesterday.

Unfortunately, we're CLOSED TODAY (August 15) to restock, prep, and get ready for tomorrow.

But tomorrow is going to be a little different… 👀🇨🇺, We're bringing you TWO NEW DISHES!

Sang-Wich-Aye has officially PASSED our Health Department inspection! ✅🎉

What started as a dream... became a plan.
That plan turned into months of hard work, setbacks, inspections, construction, and more learning than we ever imagined.

Today, we crossed one of the biggest milestones on our journey.

To every one of 🫵 who followed along, shared our posts, encouraged us, and believed in us... THANK YOU.

This accomplishment belongs to ALL of us. 🧡

🚧 Alright y'all... another milestone down! 🔥🇨🇺🧡

Building inspections are officially DONE! ✅

We had a few minor corrections to make, with the biggest one being the railing layout for La Ventanita.

That's been taken care of, and the entrance to La Ventanita is now next to the double doors into the building.

Next up: the Health Department! 🩺✅

They're scheduled to be out during the second week of August; we're hoping for August 7th. 🤞

Poco a poco se anda lejos. Every inspection gets us one step closer to pressing your first Sang-Wich-Aye. 🥪☕🍮

Thank 🫵 all for sticking with us through this journey. We know it's been a long road, but trust us... it's going to be worth the wait. 🇨🇺🧡

Every week, we're checking another item off a seemingly never-ending list, getting one step closer to opening La Ventanita.

✅ Dumpster delivered
✅ Fire extinguishers inspected & up to date
✅ Customer bar installed
✅ Smoker(s) enclosure complete
✅ The old drive-thru is almost history 👋
⭐️ Building Department inspection requested
⭐️ Health Department inspection requested

It's been a journey, and we know it's taken longer than anyone (especially us 😅) expected. But we're committed to doing this the right way, from permits and inspections to all the little details that most people never see.
