When life gets you down you make lemonade right?
Many of you don’t know, but this week was super tough, we kept smiles on our faces instead of tears, we are dedicated to our customers, but we also need to be honest with our customers.
Early tuesday morning my son was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. He was discharged but went back later that evening, I got a call from him while at work through supper rush, and when I didn’t answer he sent me a text that he was going back up. He was admitted and they found that he had a viral infection in the sac around his heart and that his heart was inflamed. Patience took the kids for the night and we made plans so we could complete the huge order together on Wed morning together. I got to spend my day Wednesday with all the grandkids while being a nervous wreck worried about my son. He has been released from the hospital on meds and monitoring his heart rate and blood pressure, and also dealing with me questioning him all the time about taking his blood pressure and calling doctors.
Early Thursday morning my adopted son totaled his car, he’s fine, but still more stress added to us.
Willow wasn’t eating for me for a couple days, she had me so stressed out and worried. Last night she ate like a champ for Patience and I’ve determined she’s sick of me because 6 times a day I have to give her multiple meds by syringe so she thinks every syringe is meds when they are in my hands. Her weight dipped to 715 grams yesterday and I thought for sure we were going to lose her, Patience worked her magic and she was at 785 grams last night.
Thank you all for keeping us on our toes and our minds distracted because sometimes that is what we need to push through. We will continue to show up, keep smiles on our faces, maintain positive attitudes, no matter what life throws at us!!!
