There’s something special about creating a dessert inspired by a story… and these 🍒 Cherry Chocolate Chip Mini Bundt Cakes were just that.

These were created for a Big Canoe book club reading The Book Club of Troublesome Women, where the cake itself is part of the story that brings the women together. So of course… it only felt right to bring that detail to life.

Each mini Bundt was topped with a custom edible image inspired by elements from the book—adding a fun, visual connection between the story and the dessert table.

The flavor? A soft, buttery cherry cake with mini chocolate chips throughout, finished with a rich chocolate drizzle. A little nostalgic, a little indulgent… and perfect for sharing during good conversation and great company.

I love finding ways to turn themes, stories, and moments into something you can actually taste.

Why hello everyone! It has been a while since I’ve shared a cake creation. I got my first opportunity to custom make one for someone here in Big Canoe this week, and it reminded me why I love doing this!!

A 7” baseball-themed groom’s cake created for an intimate rehearsal dinner. The cake was designed to look like a baseball and celebrates the groom’s favorite teams. From the stitching and logos on the cake to the chocolate glove, baseball, and bat resting in the “infield dirt,” every element you see is completely edible and handcrafted.

So now, as always with my shares, it’s your turn… tell me what you think! And while you’re at it, tell me your favorite baseball team!!
