Hey folks
Rue here it's been awhile, I have been a little busy visiting with all my Dr's i believe that I'm up to twelve of them now. Had some tests today and they tell me I have a serious procedure in the morning,they want to know how bad it has gotten in my heart. So my Lovely Wife Missy took me to watch the Astros tonight hoping I would relax. I will be back in Houston next week for some more procedures and the following week also. Latest update with this sarcoidosis is I'm at stage 3 in the lungs, in between stages 1 and 2 in the liver and in the muscles around the eyes along with 4 spots in the brain. Yeah so I'm not sure when Rue's will open back up? But I haven't heard the Lady sing yet!

Hey folks it's been a few weeks just letting everyone know that we will be closed this week. I'm heading back to Houston to see a couple of Dr's and have another nuclear pet scan. Boy am I getting tired of this,hope to cooking again soon.

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!
FROM RUE

Just want everyone to know that I have had health issues for almost 2 years now. I have a disease called Sarcoidosis, it's a autoimmune disease that attacks your organs. The Dr's have confirmed that it's in my Lungs, Kidneys, Brain, Heart and all over. So with a heavy heart I must let everyone know that Rue's Barbecue will be closed for a few weeks while they run more tests and put me on an infusions, while on the infusions I'm not supposed to be around a lot of people, because they said that my immune system will be almost nothing. Please be patient until I get my strength and energy back and we will be back cooking for y'all again. We will be posting updates as i get them.
