Happy Labor Day!🇺🇸
(Long but worth the read)
❤️ 37 YEARS. THAT MEANS SOMETHING.
On this Labor Day, we couldn’t think of a better story to share.
We were incredibly touched to see this post about one of our own.
Linda has been part of the Schnitzelbank family for 37 years. And when someone gives that many years of her life to a place, the word employee simply isn’t big enough.
Linda is a coworker, a friend, a sister and, to many of us, even a mother figure. She has raised five children while working alongside us..sometimes full time, sometimes part time, but always with the same incredible work ethic, dependability, kindness and heart.
If you know Linda, you know. She doesn’t just do her job. She takes it to the next level. She works hard. She hustles. She cares about her customers. She cares about her coworkers. And after 37 years, she is woven into the fabric of this place.
So when we read that Linda said, “I’m not used to people talking to me,” we wanted to make one thing very clear:
Linda, you are seen. And more importantly, you are incredibly loved and admired. ❤️
Thank you, Scott, for taking the time to notice someone who means so much to us and for giving her the recognition she deserves.
And perhaps that’s what Labor Day should remind all of us to do a little more often..not simply recognize the work, but recognize the people doing it.
Today, we want to say thank you to ALL of our hardworking, dependable employees who keep this 65-year-old restaurant moving every single day. The ones out front and behind the scenes. The ones who have been here for decades and the ones just beginning their story with us. The people in the daily grind who keep every piece in place and somehow make this big, busy place work like a well-oiled machine.
We could not succeed without ALL of you.
You are seen.
You are appreciated.
You are valued.
You are family.
And Linda, thank you for 37 incredible years. We are honored that so many of them have been spent with us. ❤️
Happy Labor Day from the Schnitzelbank family. 🇺🇸
