Let’s talk about how things work at Wood Capital Pizza.
We’re a counter‑service restaurant, which means you order at the counter, grab a seat, and we bring your food out hot from the wood‑fired oven.
But behind that simple system is a team that does a lot more than people realize:
🍕 Hand‑mixing and prepping our long‑fermented Neapolitan dough
🥫 Prepping toppings, sauces, and ingredients every day
🔥 Firing every pizza to order in the wood oven
🧼 Cleaning tables, doing dishes (yes — even with paper plates, we wash a TON), and keeping the space spotless
🧹 Jumping between roles to keep things moving
We also set up a buffet station with plates, napkins, silverware, and red pepper flakes — but whenever we can, we still bring plates, napkins, utensils, and boxes to your table, even though that’s not part of the counter‑service model. We do it because we care.
Our team shares tips because we share the work.
