⛳ First time playing Glen Erin?

We asked our GM, Tom, what every first-time golfer should know:
“Keep it in the fairway and don’t let the large greens intimidate you!” — Tom

Now it’s your turn! What advice would YOU give someone playing Glen Erin for the first time? Drop your tips below! 👇

🌅 What’s the best view at Glen Erin?

According to our GM, Tom, it’s from the west side of The Cursing Stone Pub—relaxing in the rocking chairs as the sun goes down and the sky fills with the perfect mix of pinks and oranges. It’s hard to beat! 🧡

According to our Director of Events, Katy, it is the view from the deck of the Celtic House overlooking the 18th hole at sunset time!

Either way, sunsets here at Glen Erin are ridiculous!

🌱 DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT? ⛳️

Meet Lukas Johnson, our Superintendent, who absolutely KILLS IT keeping Glen Erin looking this good! 👏

Those beautiful greens don’t just happen. Being a Superintendent means:

🌱 Mowing, watering, fertilizing & caring for the turf
🌦️ Watching the weather like a hawk
🐛 Keeping an eye out for pests and disease
✂️ Managing everything from greens to fairways
🚜 Maintaining equipment and making sure it’s ready to go
💧 Managing irrigation and water needs
⏰ And, of course, plenty of very early mornings!

And when Mother Nature decides to throw a curveball? Lukas is the one figuring out how to keep the course in great shape. 😎

Just take a look at our greens! 👀 They’re looking GOOD!

Give Lukas and his entire maintenance crew some love the next time you see them out on the course. We appreciate everything they do to make Glen Erin the place we love to play! 💚⛳️

Thank you, Lukas, and the whole grounds crew! 👏

🍻 WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO DRINK IN THE PUB? 🍻

We asked our GM what he reaches for when he’s hanging out at Glen Erin…

💜 While working: Purple Gatorade
🍹 After a round: A Captain & Diet every now and again!

Because even the GM needs a little post-round reward. 😉⛳️
