Y'all that was a fun contest, and on a day we needed to smile... Congrats to Melinda Shirrell Thompson. You really captured the feeling of when that pizza "slaps" 😂 You can collect your free pizza anywhere we are! There were sooooo many good ones you guys! It was extremely hard to choose. We will do this again. 🍕

💔 SOMERSET, WE ARE SO INCREDIBLY SORRY.

This is one of those posts we absolutely hate having to make.

We were supposed to be serving lunch today at the VA Clinic at Med Park. We had food prepped, the trailer ready, and 20 pre-orders already waiting for us.

And then we developed a power issue that we simply cannot resolve in time for lunch.

And before anybody panics... IT'S NOT BIG RED! ❤️😂 Big Red is just fine.

We have spent the morning trying everything we can to fix the problem. We kept trying because we knew people were counting on us. We kept looking at those 20 pre-orders and hoping we could find some way to make today happen.

But we've reached the point where we have to admit that we can't.

We will NOT be able to open at the VA Clinic in Somerset today.

To every single person who pre-ordered — we are especially sorry. You planned your lunch around us. You took the time to send your order in, and you trusted us to show up and feed you. We don't take that lightly. Knowing we are disappointing 20 people who were already expecting their Cumberland Crust today genuinely hurts.

And to the VA Clinic and everyone at Med Park who was expecting us, please accept our sincerest apology.

We're a tiny family business. When something goes wrong, there isn't another trailer we can send or another crew waiting in the wings. Sometimes one problem is enough to bring the whole operation to a stop, no matter how badly we want to keep going.

Today is unfortunately one of those days.

Thank you for sticking with us through the sold-out days, the crazy days, the really good days... and days like today.

Somerset, we promise you... we wanted to feed you today. 💔🍕
