Such a sweet week to come back inside to. It is the time of year when our farm partners are bursting with beautiful harvests. We will take advantage and be bringing it to you.

Wednesday- Open Mic and Burgers. Come sing a song. It’s scary and fun so live a little.

Thursday/
Gettin vibey with TLOOP
Come relax with electronic and live-looping music project TLOOP created by multi-instrumentalist Tony Molina.
We’ll have farm zucchini fritters, fettuccini with Rosa sauce, garlic shrimp and farm veggies, a tomato burrata plate and more. :)

Friday date nights are back!
BANJO JOE AND DANIELLE are playing. They are a bluegrass-stringband-americana duo influenced by early country music. We’ll be hanging out, Having specials paired with drinks- like Cucumber lime gin and tonic with a flank steak and arugula pesto…Or a bottle of red w**e with mussels and frites….
There are more, so come show Friday night who’s the boss.

Saturday- little market

Sunday-WOMEN OF THE MOUNTAIN - Ella is bringing a fair of local art, music and women entrepreneurs. Well worth a trip to Jsmestown! Brunch while you’re hanging out. 10-2

We have one of those killer weeks that just falls into place sometimes. Awesome food and people and music. A little bonus from the Universe.

Of course Wednesday: the vibin-est little Open Mic continues. Grab a burger, listen to brave new talent and watch the sunset.

Thursday- NIGHT CLASS is bringing some classic rock. We’ll be serving up a Spanish Fried Chicken Plate, a traditional Spanish Tortilla, Garlic Shrimp, Watermelon Gazpacho and more. Come get groovy.

Friday- THE LAST PIZZA NIGHT IN THE PARK! As is tradition, we will have a banger of a show to send us into autumn. CLAY ROSE AND FRIENDS is bringing the party. So we promise to make delicious pizzas and lots of sides and cold drinks to enjoy one more night under the stars.

Saturday- Just the little market with burritos, pastries and coffee drinks. Xo

Sunday- a beautiful Sunday Brunch with TWO awesome acts. JOHN SHEPHERD will serenade inside from 10-12 and then the last outside musical act of the year, DWAYNE HAGGINS will close it out. He’s so fun- grab a towel, a bathing suit, maybe a bloody mary and dance in the grass.

YeeHaw! We are CLOSED Friday for our annual pilgrimage when the Merckers go to Commerce City for a sick dance party. When you think about it, maybe people aren’t celebrating Labor Day enough by cancelling labor?

But we are gonna be having a GOOD TIME at The Merc Thursday- enough to make up for the whole week.

Wednesday, as you already know, the best lil Open Mic around. Burgers, songs, drinks and a chill vibe. Do you know that we’ve had someone sing for the first time ever at Merc Open Mic and before long she was singing at Red Rocks? It could happen to YOU.

Thursday- Classic Country! BRIDGETTE SPINNEY AND FRIENDS is gonna be some fun country tunes - with pals Tom Buswell on dobro, Derek Dames Ohl on bass and Patty Storen on mandolin. We are stoked to be serving Spanikopita, Gyros, Falafel, Roasted Carrot Plate, Roast Eggplant Plate and more- plates full of farm fresh love.

(We will be back the following Friday with a bang for the LAST Pizza night of the season)

Saturday- Little Market- burritos, coffee, juice and pastries.

Sunday- Labor Day Brunch is a special brunch- it’s a holiday inside of a holiday! BRIANNA STRAUT, East Texas–born, Denver-based Americana artist will carry y’all home on this holiday weekend. We couldn’t ask for anything better.

STORIES AFTER DARK is coming to The Merc!

(Summer coming to a close is a bit of a heartbreak, BUT looking forward to storytelling in a cozy shared room after dark is absolutely something to look forward to. )

Think of it as “Moth Radio Hour” meets your favorite divebar with a heart of gold.

“A STORY ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT ME”

700-1200 word stories can be submitted by email: [email protected]

We will help with performance practice and all submissions are confidential outside of the judging panel.

Five winning submissions will be performed on the evening of Tuesday, November 10th 6:30pm
Performers will receive $100 and VERY impressive bragging rights.

Listen Up!
It’s not your usual Merc week-
so please read carefully!

WEDNESDAY- Open Mic will be dedicated to Dolly Parton, my spirit animal. If you know a Dolly tune, please come sing it. If you don’t know one but you love her, come sing anything you like. John is hosting and printing off some Dolly lyrics in case you want to give it a go. The world isn’t going to be the same without that magical angelic badass.

THURSDAY- The REED FOEHL concert is SOLD OUT. We will be serving dinner on the porch from 5-7 and after 7, a ticket will be necessary to come squeeze in for this special show. For those attending, or those wanting to picnic beforehand, we’ll be serving some Paella, Veggie Paella, Empanadas, Salad and Patatas Bravas.

FRIDAY- It does not get any dreamier. STURTZ is beautiful and wonderful and gorgeous and we are so excited to hear those lilting melodies fill the canyon for the SECOND TO LAST pizza night! We have some delicious pizza flavors and some delicious pizza sides. And Margs of course. It’s a magical eve with Sturtz, so come live it up with us.

SATURDAY- The little market. Burritos, Pastries, Fresh Squeezed Juice, Coffee Drinks

SUNDAY- MERCY CLUB! We are so lucky to get a rad band playing brunch. Mercy mercy, mercy, come grab your hollandaise, your ch*****ne and your friends and come dance in the park. We’ll actually be giving out a shiny penny to every dancer in the grass. For those of you that need an incentive besides summer and sunday and breakfast and fun.

FINALLY~
Peach Fest is here!
(Micki Balder peachfest superfan, this week is for you)
A favorite annual tradition, all weekend long we’ll be celebrating the late summer Colorado treat that continues to wow year after year. Especially this year, when the weather made things tricky on the western slope and the supply is limited, we are cherishing these beauties.

Wednesday- still the best lil open mic in America. Plus Smash Burgers. It’s like a dive bar and a high school talent show had a baby.

Thursday- Putting together a sweet summer dinner menu to go with JOHN INGRAHM BAND. John has played with Sierra Ferrell, Billy Strings, Vince Herman, and Tim O’Brian to name a few- so gonna have to plan on some sick tunes! Plus he’s being joined by ALYSSA MEDINA. We’ll have Flank Steak with Blue Cheese Butter, Salmon with Cucumber Peach Relish, Arugula Peach Salad, Heirloom Tomato and Peach Burrata….I feel like we can guarantee a sweet evening?

Friday- YeeeeHaw! RIVER ARKANSAS!
(Ever since the most epic night of all of Covid nights way back when, every time that River Arkansas comes to play the park, we get a little giddy.) They’re just the best, like your favorite cousins are coming over for your favorite holiday. And PEACH FEST will be in full effect. We’ll have wood fired Peach Pizzas, Peach Margaritas, Peach Tiramisu, Peach Bruschetta, and plenty more.

Saturday - little market with pastries and burritos.

Sunday- JOY ADAMS AND GUS TRISTCH - Let’s have some old time tunes with the most important meal of the week. BRUNCH. We’ll have Peach Bellinis obviously. Can’t wait to see all the happy Sunday people. It’s the day of the most guilt free lounging. And that’s very good for you.

Very Special Event Announcement!

We are extremely excited and extremely lucky to get to host the incredible singer songwriter REED FOEHL.
We have hoped for years to get to witness this artist up close and personal at The Merc!

Reed plays Thursday August 27th at 7pm $30
We will open for dinner outside 5-6:45 and then sit down for the show at 6:45
Tickets will sell out, so grab yours asap!
