Apparently, potatoes woke up and chose chaos. 😂🥔

Meet two of the newest troublemakers at Hondo’s:

🤠 SPUD STAMPEDE — creamy mashed potatoes, chili and shredded cheese with a warm dinner roll tagging along for the ride.

🍳 MORNING MAYHEM — crispy breakfast potatoes buried under chili and shredded cheese, then topped with two over-easy eggs. One poke of that yolk and things get deliciously outta hand.

Two bowls. Two very different ways to make a mess of breakfast (or lunch)!

And yes… a cold beer is a perfectly acceptable breakfast accessory at Hondo’s. 🍺😉

Another busy weekend in the books! 🤠❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and kept us hoppin’! We’re so grateful for your continued support.

Our crew has been working their tails off, so we’ve decided to give them a well-deserved break. Hondo’s will be CLOSED Monday & Tuesday so they can rest, recharge, and enjoy a couple days off.

Thanks for keeping us busy and supporting our hardworking crew! We’ll see y’all soon! ☀️🌊

Soak it up while it’s here ☀️ Because let’s be real — it ain’t gonna be this hot in November, December, or January!

So while the sun’s still showing out, come see us at Hondo’s Hideaway. Grab a drink on the patio, stay out a little longer on the boat, or just make it a night out with your people with some delicious food— however you want to soak up these last hot days, we got you.

Thanks to your incredible support, we had the pleasure of serving over 1,000 guests this past weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful!

With today’s rainy weather giving us a little break from the heat, we’ve decided to close for this evening so our hardworking crew can enjoy a well-deserved night off.

🥪 The Dijon Drifter – Grilled Texas toast loaded with ham, Swiss, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Dijon mustard.

🌯 The Honey Husker Wrap – Crispy chicken tossed in honey garlic sauce with lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

Served with kettle chips and best enjoyed with a lakeside view. 🌊

The Aberdeen Aqua Addicts are coming to town this weekend with a brand new show! 🌞 Come watch an incredible water ski show with jumps, tricks, and all, right on the reservoir at Hondo’s Hideaway! They’ll be performing July 12th at 1:30pm, and we’d love for you and your family to join us!

This is a totally free outing, so bring the kids, grab a seat in the sun, and enjoy some fun activities together as a community. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon, come see what they’re all about!
