Who needs a b**r garden when the Third Annual Downtown Oktoberfest is launching Jacksonville’s first ever Social District?!
This is a MAJOR step forward in Downtown’s revitalization, and we’re honored to be doing the work alongside the City of Jacksonville to bring this idea to life and move Downtown in the direction of growth, vibrancy, and connection.
A Social District for Downtown Oktoberfest means you can grab your favorite alcoholic beverage and sip, shop, eat, and explore Downtown without being corralled into a designated consumption area. One open, connected, downtown experience for the whole family, because that’s what it’s always been about.
The long term vision for the social district does not stop here. This is only the pilot run! It’s our chance to show what’s possible and we’re feeling really good about the future of this becoming a normal thing for Downtown.
None of this would be possible without our community, fellow Downtown brick and mortars, our longtime partnerships with small businesses, and the City of Jacksonville.
